Afternoon Tea
A Traditional Afternoon Tea with Friends and Family
Step into history and elegance at Maple Hill Manor, where our signature Afternoon Tea transforms the day into an occasion. Set in our beautifully restored 1851 Greek Revival manor in Springfield, Kentucky, we invite you to enjoy a timeless tea service featuring savories, freshly baked scones, and delectable sweets, served on fine China, paired with as many refills of premium tea as you wish.
When you and your friends join us for our afternoon tea parties, you will dine in the formal dining room and parlor, where the original McElroy family dined all those decades ago. Our historic Manor House and grounds are as picturesque as it gets! Be sure to take a few selfies, there are many photo opps around the property, and tag us: @historicmaplehillmanor
Afternoon Teas require advance ticket purchase, $45 per person, not including tax or gratuity. Large groups can be accommodated, such as church groups, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, club gatherings, and other socials. Be sure to check our Events page here on the site, and follow us on Facebook for upcoming Tea dates. Tickets must be purchased by phone; call 859-710-1557 to get yours.
Reserve your Spot for Afternoon Tea: More Things to Know
Each Afternoon Tea at Maple Hill Manor is curated around a thoughtful theme, offering guests a fresh and delightful experience with every visit. Our chef-designed menus feature a balance of three savoury bites, three warm scones, and three petite sweets, crafted to reflect the season’s flavors and the manor’s historic elegance.
Favorite menu items include delicate cucumber or chicken-salad tea sandwiches, warm cranberry-orange or lemon-poppyseed scones served with house-made spreads, and dainty pastries infused with herbs, citrus, or chocolate; each item chosen to complement our premium selection of teas.
Themed teas allow us to showcase creativity and seasonality in meaningful ways. Our “Flavors of Summer” tea highlights bright fruits, edible florals, and refreshing blends, while autumn teas lean into warm spices, maple notes, and cozy, comforting treats.
Around holidays, you might find peppermint-kissed sweets, cinnamon-infused scones, or decadent chocolate offerings worthy of the season. No matter the menu, every tea service is an elegant feast for the senses: beautifully plated, flavorful, and designed to elevate your afternoon. Our Kentucky Bed and Breakfast is always festive and bright around the holidays!
