101 Must Places to Shop
by Gary P. West
Springfield’s own Maple Hill Manor Bed and Breakfast and its Maple Cottage Gifts Farm Store which features fashions and gift items made from the luxury fiber produced by the Alpacas raised at the farm, has been chosen to be included in the new book released and sold nationally, “Shopping Your Way Across Kentucky” – 101 Must Places to Shop by Gary P. West. The book was published by Acclaim Press.
In his third installment of things to do throughout Kentucky, author Gary P. West takes the reader to some of the most interesting stores and shops in the state. Maple Hill Manor’s Farm Store was first nominated, examined on site for atmosphere and quality of products, and then selected to have a two-page feature story in the book.
The stores are grouped into fixed geographic regions of Kentucky as well as by city, facilitating the traveler never being without a proven destination for quality shopping. Shopping Your Way Across Kentucky features 101 interesting places to shop in the Commonwealth, from furniture to clothing. Knick-knacks to jewelry, and everything in between.
Gary West of Bowling Green is no stranger to superior shopping. From 1993 to 2005 he was Director of the Bowling Green Convention and Visitors Bureau.

West has shown time and time again that he is a master of finding the treasure that is off the beaten path, those hidden, out-of-the-way gems, and that is evident in Shopping Your Way Across Kentucky” –Stephen M. Vest, Publisher & Editor, Kentucky Monthly Magazine
